For this project, my partner Cindy and I had to create a marketing campaign for DigiFest, the Senior Portfolio Showcase for all Digital Media students at the University of Houston. The purpose of this invitation is to invite potential employers to DigiFest. The goal was to create a 6 x 9 in. variable data announcement cards to promote the event which should be appropriate to the UH Brand.
It was necessary to personalize the cards in at least 4 ways and personalization should be meaningful to the individual or segment that the invitation is mailed to. We had to collect information to personalize the invitation from online sources like DataAxleReferences.com. Then, we used XMPie Dynamic Content to input the collected personal data, so each invitation was able to be customized per recipient. Additionally,when putting this project together, we had to make sure mailing, photography,and composition/layout requirements were followed.
